I updated my Kobra S1 Max firmware a week ago and ran into issues.
After a while of printing I received error messages concerning clogging. I searched the internet and found some people on reddit telling the same stuff.
After upgrading to a firmware 2.7.x they got clogging errors while printing.
The exact error message is:
11518 Filament clogging detected，click “resume” to solve it. lf failed several times, please stop printing
Anycubic has a good wiki page to check for that error here.
And if you go to the article with the possible fixes you can try to do everything that is described there. But it won't solve the problem.
I even changed the nozzle. No success.
My last hope was to do a downgrade to a working firmware. Unfortunately it is not that simple to downgrade, because the Kobra S1 Max only allows OTA upgrades. You can't download any official firmware on Anycubics website.
What really helps me was this article on reddit.
It was a lifesaver :-)
I downloaded some old firmware from: https://rinkhals.firmwareforge.org/.
I decided to switch back to version 2.6.9.6.
Placed the downloaded file on a USB stick like described in the above article, put the stick into the Kobra S1 Max and it beeped immediately to signal that the firmware will be flashed. Unfortantely there is absolutely NO indication what is going on and what is the progress of flashing.
Don't turn off the printer or pull out the USB stick - just simply wait until the printer will be rebooting after a while.
If it reboots, the firmware flash is finished.
After switching back to 2.6.9.6 I got rid of the filament clogging error message.
I am thinking of switching completely to Rinkhals firmware.
